You’ve seen them towering above cities and roadways throughout the nation: billboard ads. Billboards have the highest reach amongst OOH advertising types in the U.S. – about 80 percent* of American consumers stated noticing a billboard ad. Now imagine displaying your book on a billboard. But not just any billboard. One positioned in Times Square, NYC, where thousands of people will see it.
That’s exactly what I did recently for my own book, The Backwards K. Not only did the billboard garner thousands upon thousands of impressions, but I also had pictures and videos created of the billboard in the wild and re-used those materials all throughout my social media for added exposure. Naturally, my authors saw this marketing approach and wanted to replicate it. So, my company MindStir Media now offers this sort of Times Square billboard advertising for books.
