I’ve noticed over the course of the past month or so that Google is suggesting the term j.j. hebert net worth when one Googles my name. I suppose that the Google suggestion is taking place because I’ve been in the news lately and enough people have been searching my name and trying to determine how much I’m worth…
I’ve seen plenty of websites throughout the years that showcase the wealthy and their net worth. Forbes, for instance, has more than one list devoted to net worth, including an Annual World Billionaires List. No, I’m not on that list, unfortunately!
And then there are other net worth lists all over the Internet. Thousands and maybe even millions of websites showcase the net worth of authors, entrepreneurs, actors/actresses, musicians and more. Whenever I see these lists, I wonder to myself: How accurate is the info? Are they verifying the info?
Certainly, Forbes and other top-tier websites with net worth lists must be getting the info directly from the celebrities and verifying, but low-tier websites are probably just making up the info based on a best guess or an algorithm. There’s no way that some unknown website is manually verifying net worth data for every profile.
So, that brings me to my point: Take most net worth listings with a grain of salt!
And that’s not my house and car in the photo above, but I thought it looked cool (it’s from a website called Unsplash).
